I purchased this as a replacement for the ESC/RX module in my Sandy Land 1/18 MT. This is a direct drop in replacement - the plastic case is exactly the same. For the Electronics, this ESC has much larger FETS than the stock ESC. The FETS actually power the motor, and larger should be better. Running - the new ESC seems to have a bit more punch vs the old ESC. The truck will try to pull a wheelie now, and if you reverse, then forward WOT, it will do a standing flip. My only complaint - I wish the FETs were placed all in the same orientation, so that standard brushed ESC heat sinks could fit. It does run Hot, but not as hot as the stock ESC. Picture is old ESC vs new ESC.
